You may have read something about it, or heard someone talking about it, BPA. Bisphenol A is a component of polycarbonate bottles, especially those with a #7 on them. I know we’ve re-used water bottles and have tried to use more of the hard plastic, reusable bottles to avoid buying bottles water. I’m sure you have too. Well stop NOW!
The National Toxicology Program (I didn’t even know there was such a thing) issues a report on 4/14 that found that “show that exposure to high-dose levels of bisphenol A during pregnancy and/or lactation can reduce survival, birth weight and growth of offspring early in life, and delay the onset of puberty in males and females.” There have also been links to cancers over the years.

I’m sure I could find a couple of people to try out and then review one of these wonders. Especially after I priced replacement options for my Nalgenes, yikes!
