(well, b/c of course they are exempted from inspection!) anyway... living in sf -- one of the epicenters for gay marriage -- is fantastic! the first state-recognized couple to get married in sf have been together for some 55years. (and if they don't deserve to be married, then who the hell does?!?) they were married in a private ceremony in mayor gavin newsom's office, with about 60 guests (and press). they did come out and have a cake-cutting ceremony in a public area in city hall... AND I WAS THERE! it was amazing to see these 2 women who have withstood so much and been real proponents of GLBT rights be the first couple to be legally married.
