I keep telling people that when I win the Powerball I’ll be putting solar panels all over my house. I just love the concept of receiving a check from Progress energy rather than a bill. Well if my utility picks up this program from Connecticut I may get their sooner rather than later. It will all depend on what they deem the “average household income” is but if you’re reading from CT check this out.
Kitting out your home with a solar power system just got a bit easier in the state of Connecticut. Under the Connecticut Solar Lease Program, qualifying low and moderate-income homeowners—those people whose household incomes is less than or equal to 150% of the median income for their area and with good credit—will be able to obtain state assistance to install solar PV systems.
