Medication interaction with grapefruit juice

I don’t have the healthiest diet of anyone on the planet and always thought that grapefruit juice was good for me. Apparently it is but it has some significant side effects when used with medications. With some medications, particularly blood pressure medications it can amplify the effect of the medications. Well now there is research that grapefruit juice can decrease the absorbtion of medications and as such negate their effect. So for me, water!
